Operra
Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 26, 2026
Overview
Operra helps users plan, create, schedule, and publish content. This page explains the main types of information Operra handles and how users can contact us about privacy requests.
Information Operra handles
Operra may handle account information, project settings, brand context, uploaded media, generated content plans, captions, schedules, publishing status, and product activity needed to operate the service.
When a user connects Instagram, Operra may handle connected account identifiers, username, account type, media metadata, publishing results, and connection credentials needed to complete user-requested publishing workflows.
How Operra uses information
Operra uses information to sign users in, manage projects, analyze media, generate content plans, render media, schedule posts, publish approved content, troubleshoot issues, protect the service, and improve product quality.
Instagram usage
Operra uses Instagram permissions only for visible product features: connecting an Instagram professional account, showing connected account information, syncing supported media information, and publishing content after user approval or scheduling.
Operra does not sell Instagram data and does not publish to Instagram unless the user approves, schedules, or starts a publish action in the product.
Sharing
Operra uses service providers for hosting, database, storage, authentication, media processing, AI assistance, and connected publishing. Operra may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service.
User choices and deletion
Users may disconnect integrations and request deletion of account or integration data. See User Data Deletion for instructions.
International privacy requests
Depending on location, users may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete personal information. To make a request, email privacy@operraplanner.com.
